Mr. Hodson brings over 20 years’ experience in advising executive management, in-house corporate legal counsel, labor relations administrators, and human resource professionals.  His legal practice includes offering management counsel and legal advice for compliance with all areas of employment and labor law, including employment hiring and recruitment, performance and incentive compensation, discipline and termination decisions, employment policies and handbook provisions, executive employment agreements, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution agreements, trade secret and confidentiality agreements, workplace misconduct investigations, drug and alcohol testing, employment background checks, employee privacy, governmental and administrative audits and assessments, protected leaves of absence, workplace safety, employee benefits, prevention of union organizing, wage and hour compliance, management training, and various other employment related state and federal laws and regulations. 

Mr. Hodson has also represented management before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in all aspects of employment law litigation. His representation has included such areas of expertise as wrongful termination, unlawful discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, workplace violence, leaves of absence, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract and defamation. His expertise includes assertive use of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms for to find solutions, including formal and informal arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Hodson also represents management in all aspects of labor law before the National Labor Relations Board and similar state agencies including representation elections, unfair labor practice charges and hearings, collective bargaining negotiations, contract arbitrations and picketing and strikes.
